Great grocery store with a large selection of produce. The place is kept very clean, and the staff is friendly. Prices are a little above average, but the cleanliness and selection more than make up for it. My preferred place to shop.
Good, solid grocery store. Very helpful employees. Excellent store-made fried chicken and subs. Produce sometimes worse for the wear, wish there were more organic veggies.
The Black Mountain Ingles is one of their flagship stores, as their 0.75 mile long warehouse is just a few miles away. It is an extra large super store that serves the whole region. It is one stop shopping. Movies, wine, food, gas, basic auto, most drgstore needs, deli and hot food options....its all there. No pharmacy in the store, but another chain has a location in the same parking lot.
My husband and I are always so pleased with the Ingles in Black Mtn., NC. It's so clean & easy to find things. The bulk items, salad bar & hot foods look so great. My husband worked in a grocery store so his high praise really means something!
The Black Mountain Store is perfect with the following notes: young men are reluctant to bag and carry out. Looking and expecting tips from elderly, even in wheelchairs!! Devon was the only employee twice to offer help. The only other thing that is obviously annoying, is the much higher prices here than at other Ingles!
