Always loved walking around the lake even as a kid myself ! And now there is more for families to enjoy together than years ago with only the lake to walk or a small swing.
This small lake has a 1/4 mile loop with great views, tennis courts, playground/sand-pit, benches to sit in various places and a couple of places to have a charcoal BBQ. It's walking distance to the quaint downtown.
Very peaceful place to enjoy being alive. Be mindful of goose droppings though, definitely don't go barefoot and watch where your children step.
Nice walking trail around the lake, Dick's and geese to watch, pleasant surroundings.
Love the lake. Played tennis. Enjoyed geese flying into the lake.
